Pamela S. Chehardy Croft was born in New Orleans and raised in Metairie, Louisiana. After graduating with honors from Archbishop Chapelle High School, where she was the recipient of the WDSU Edward R. Murrow Scholarship award, she attended Louisiana State University. Ms. Croft achieved her undergraduate degree in broadcast journalism with a minor in psychology. She subsequently attended Loyola University School of Law and was conferred her J.D. in 1994. Ms. Croft is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State Courts, as well as the United States Middle and Eastern Districts of Louisiana.

Ms. Croft began her practice with a mid-sized insurance defense firm in Metairie. She represented national corporate clients including Nobel Insurance Company, Dayco Products, Inc., Piccadilly Cafeterias, Home Depot, FFE Transportation Services, Inc. and Motors Insurance Company in all aspects of litigation. After moving to Baton Rouge in 1998, she worked for a smaller insurance defense firm, representing American National Property and Casualty Company and was also appointed special counsel for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development. Ms. Croft was a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association and the Dean Henry George McMahon Inn of Court.

Ms. Croft moved to Mandeville in 2005, and subsequently went to work for a small firm that primarily handled simple to complex estate planning, successions, tax issues and corporate transactions, which allowed her to expand her previous areas of practice. After that firm disbanded due to the retirement of one of the partners. Ms. Croft has previously worked as a contract attorney as well, for a variety of firms.

Ms. Croft is currently a member of the Covington Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association. She is an avid runner having completed four marathons and as a member of the United States Tennis Association has participated in a variety of local leagues and tournaments. She resides in Mandeville, Louisiana with her children.
