Drunk driving creates all sorts of dangers out on the roads. So, how much in the way of drunk driving problems a state has has major safety implications for the state’s motorists.
A recent report ranked the 50 states when it comes to drunk driving. It looked at various government data to look into what level of DUI problems each state has. The report found Wyoming to have the most problems related to DUI and New York to have the least.
How does Louisiana compare to other states in regards to drunk driving? Well, it didn’t end up in the top 10 for states with the most DUI problems. However, it wasn’t too many spots off. The report ranked Louisiana 13th overall when it comes to such problems. This ranking suggests that Louisiana is faring worse than quite a few other states when it comes to drunk driving.
