A recent nola.com article contained a list of the 25 Louisiana parishes with the highest injury crash rates (per 10,000 residents). Data from Louisiana State University’s Highway Safety Research Group was used to make this list.

Which parishes took the top three spots?

The parish that was found to have the highest rate was West Baton Rouge Parish. The parish’s rate was 187 injury accidents per 10,000 residents.

Orleans Parish came in second, with 175 injury crashes for every 10,000 residents.

The No. 3 spot was held by East Baton Rouge Parish. That parish was found to have 138 injury crashes per 10,000 residents.
