About
Shawna Clelland was born in Akron, Ohio, and raised in Tampa, Florida. She relocated to the Abita Springs, Louisiana area in Junior High School. After graduating from Covington High School, and getting a few years in the work force under her belt, she moved to the New York City area where she spent the next five years developing her career as an insurance broker for one of the most prominent brokerage firms in the tri-state area. She returned to the Tampa area for almost a decade where she gained a wealth of experience in the bookkeeping and office management arena. Before moving back to Louisiana, Shawna spent six months in the country of Panama, where she learned to speak Spanish and enjoyed learning more about the rich history and culture.
Shawna joined The Truitt Law Firm in 2011, and after a two year hiatus, returned to the firm in 2022. She received her associates degree in General Studies (with a focus in accounting and finance) from Delgado Community College in 2016. She is an avid traveler, and enjoys creating memories with her husband, children and grandson.
